Job summary

Pepoltek Limited is seeking Spanish medical interpreters to join our remote language services team. You will provide consecutive interpretation over the phone (OPI) and video (VRI) for healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients, primarily in an EST hourly shift program.

We welcome candidates from Latin America and nearby regions. The role is an independent contractor position with paid training, 80 hours across 10 business days, and ongoing QA incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Experience in medical interpretation or translation is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and information between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide cultural mediation to help patients understand the healthcare system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards in interpretation.
• Document interpretation services with date, time, duration, and type.
• Stay current on medical terminology and practices.
