Job summary

Propio Language Services seeks a Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter for its OnDemand PropioONE service. You will provide consecutive interpretation, follow client protocols, and adhere to confidentiality and ethics standards.

Applicants must submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR 3+ proficiency, and pass a mock interpretation session, plus complete medical terminology training and background checks.

Qualifications

• Resume in English submitted at time of application.
• English language proficiency with ILR level 3 or higher.
• Successful completion of a Mock oral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment.
• Background check and security screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and Propio LS policies.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves subject-matter vocabulary for medical, legal, social services, etc.
