Nortal is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build and operate highly available distributed systems and caching platforms. You will drive scaling, automation, and observability for optimization of performance and resiliency across LATAM initiatives.

The role emphasizes autonomy, cloud-native approaches, and collaboration with US clients. Remote work with LATAM teams is offered, including time-off benefits and flexible holidays. Strong English communication is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or production infrastructure.
• Experience operating and scaling distributed systems in production.
• Strong caching architectures and high-availability knowledge.
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native design.
• Experience designing automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for highly available systems.
• Observability, monitoring and production troubleshooting expertise.
• Strong programming or scripting for automation; Java/Spring Boot preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems and caching platforms.
• Scale the platform toward higher traffic while maintaining performance and resiliency.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Build monitoring, alerting and observability for latency, throughput and errors.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability improvements.
