Job summary

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to join our expanding team. You will design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across US and LATAM clients, with a focus on reliability, security, and automation.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation, and production-grade PostgreSQL/Aurora environments. A strong background in multi‑AZ deployments and incident response is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews.
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
