Job summary

Nix in Colombia seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable systems across Azure and data centers. You will own automation, monitoring, and capacity planning while collaborating with an international team to meet customer needs.

You will design and improve major software components, leading reliability initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with Azure and other clouds; Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
• Proven ability to design and operate scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the full lifecycle of services for high reliability.
• Enhance monitoring to reduce outages and improve MTTR.
• Automate processes to create sustainable, scalable systems.
• Lead designs of major components to improve availability and latency.
• Support services pre-launch with design reviews and capacity planning.
• Perform post-incident analysis and drive continuous improvement.
