BairesDev is hiring a Senior Software Architect (Node.js/TypeScript) to lead the architecture of a scalable AWS-hosted platform. You will translate user needs into design, shape event-driven microservices, and own production operations from requirements through deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with Architect or Lead responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for back-end development on AWS-hosted platforms.
• Track record of designing event-driven microservices architectures running in production.
• Comfort working directly with end users, eliciting detailed requirements and challenging proposals.
• Hands-on work with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) from requirements to deployment.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation, including observability and incident repair.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture of a product capability from design through production.
• Translate product goals and user needs into working software.
• Shape event-driven microservices for the AWS-hosted back end.
• Run requirements sessions with end users and challenge assumptions.
• Direct AI-assisted development from specs to deployment.
• Own the operation of what ships, including incident repair and fix-forward.
