BairesDev is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to design and implement a lightweight edge runtime and IoT edge functionalities. You will work with modern C++ (C++20), coroutines, and secure networking to ensure robust edge devices in challenging network conditions.

You will contribute to device discovery, local persistence, and store-and-forward mechanisms, while writing comprehensive tests and maintaining cross-platform compatibility.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++, preferably C++20.
• Experience with IoT and edge development under disconnected conditions.
• Experience with Linux or Windows systems programming.
• Background in networking and secure transport (gRPC, mTLS).
• Strong test authoring skills across unit, contract, integration, boundary, restart, and negative testing.
• Ability to explain and defend AI-assisted code, including license and dependency verification.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Build edge runtime software in modern C++, with a focus on coroutines, ownership, lifetimes, and concurrency.
• Develop IoT and edge functionality that operates under disconnected, intermittent, and low-bandwidth conditions.
• Implement device discovery, local persistence, and store-and-forward behavior for unreliable network links.
• Build and maintain secure networking using gRPC and mTLS connections.
• Author tests across the full spectrum, including unit, contract, integration, boundary, restart, and negative tests.
