BairesDev is seeking an RTOS Engineer to design and implement real-time software for safety-critical embedded systems. You will ensure deterministic task scheduling and low-latency responses in high-stakes environments.

You'll work with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks, optimize inter-task communication, and collaborate with hardware teams to drive reliable, scalable solutions.

This role is 100% remote, with competitive USD compensation and flexible hours to suit a global team.

Formación

• 4+ years in Embedded Software Engineering or Firmware Development.
• Expertise with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr or VxWorks.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems and deterministic scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement real-time software solutions using FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Develop and optimize deterministic task scheduling to meet timing constraints.
• Configure and manage inter-task communication, synchronization primitives, and memory allocation.
• Ensure reliability and safety through testing and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to interface RTOS with peripherals and drivers.
