Job summary

Allied Roofing & Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Residential Estimator to support our U.S.-based sales and production teams from the Philippines. You will review measurements, photos, and scopes to prepare accurate estimates for roofing, siding, and exterior work, ensuring complete and properly priced projects.

Ideal candidates have residential estimating experience, strong numerical skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous residential construction estimating experience required.
• Roofing, siding, windows, exterior construction or remodeling estimating experience preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. residential construction terminology, materials, and estimating practices.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read measurements, plans, photographs, scopes of work, and technical information.
• Experience with material takeoffs and labor-cost calculations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, cloud-based systems, and estimating/takeoff software.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Able to identify missing information and scope gaps.
• Able to work independently with a U.S.-based team.
• Manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Reliable internet and remote-work environment.
• Overlap with Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project measurements, photos, inspection reports, plans, notes, and scope information.
• Prepare accurate residential estimates for roofing, siding, windows, and exterior work.
• Complete material takeoffs and calculate labor, materials, equipment, disposal, permits, and subs.
• Use company templates, pricing sheets, estimating systems and procedures.
• Verify quantities, pricing, assumptions, exclusions, and details before submitting estimates.
• Identify missing information and follow up with the salesperson or team.
• Prepare organized estimate summaries for internal review.
• Assist with revisions, scope changes, and updated pricing requests.
• Maintain cost information and estimating records.
• Coordinate with sales and production teams on job conditions.
• Ensure estimates cover complete project scope and minimize omissions.
• Escalate unusual conditions or pricing concerns promptly.
• Update estimate statuses and supporting docs in systems.
• Maintain turnaround times while ensuring accuracy.
• Handle pricing and customer information professionally and confidentially.
