Sezzle is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to own the evolution of authentication and authorization. Lead the API gateway and identity services, guiding architecture and migration strategies for a fintech-grade platform.

You will collaborate with Product, Security, and other engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable auth capabilities, while mentoring teammates and shaping best practices for observability and CI/CD in a distributed system.

Formación

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, backend focus.
• Experience with authentication/authorization systems (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT).

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for Sezzle’s auth platform.
• Architect, design, and build scalable auth services and gateway components.
• Lead migrations of auth traffic with zero downtime.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance for fintech-grade security.
• Mentor engineers and drive incident response on auth paths.
