BairesDev is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of ML engineers and drive production-grade code, architecture decisions, and scalable systems. You will collaborate with product, data, ML and design to shape ambitious roadmaps and ensure high-quality delivery.

With 7+ years in software, 2+ years in leadership, and strong English, you will mentor top talent and oversee ML feature execution across globally distributed teams in a 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
• Proficiency in modern languages: TypeScript, Python, Go or Java.
• Strong system design, APIs, cloud infra (AWS/GCP) and architecture fundamentals.
• Hands-on with data-driven apps or ML collaboration.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, ML, and Design to define and deliver roadmaps.
• Write, review, and ship production-grade code when needed.
• Drive architectural decisions for long-term scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee the technical execution of ML features with data scientists and ML engineers.
