corviaconsulting partners with U.S.-based law firms to connect international professionals with long-term, fully remote opportunities. A Litigation Assistant position is available for candidates located outside the United States with prior litigation support experience.

The role involves drafting and filing pleadings, managing case files, meeting court deadlines, and coordinating with clients, courts, and experts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Litigation Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, deadlines, and legal documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist attorneys with day-to-day management of personal injury litigation cases.
• Draft, prepare, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filing where applicable.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other important litigation dates.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, experts, and other third parties.
• Assist with all phases of discovery, including preparing responses, organizing records, and managing document production.
• Prepare case summaries, chronologies, trial binders, and other litigation support materials.
• Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys.
• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and the legal team.
