Job summary

Gallagher is hiring a Data Engineer to build trusted data across LATAM, enabling country onboarding, platform stability, and better decision-making. You will design and maintain reliable pipelines, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across countries.

You'll work with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and orchestration tools, contributing to scalable data products and strong governance across migrations and OneSource platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and production data pipelines experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
• Hands-on with dbt, Fivetran, or similar ingestion/transformation tools.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Astronomer.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, APIs, and data products.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment promotion.
• English and Spanish fluency; Portuguese a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver reliable data solutions that support country migrations and platform needs.
• Build and maintain reusable data pipelines, checks, and controls for onboarding.
• Improve data movement across systems to increase trust and reliability.
• Strengthen data quality through profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support stable OneSource data products that are easy to maintain and scale.
• Enhance observability, error handling, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers, business teams, and country partners to translate needs into data solutions.
• Document processes and share knowledge across teams.
