Job summary

Cuculus GmbH seeks an experienced Project Manager LATAM to lead smart metering projects across Latin America. The role is freelance/full-time (40h) with a long-term aim and remote work from Colombia or LATAM. Start: December 2026; travel approx. 1 week per month; costs covered by Cuculus.

You will coordinate delivery, scope, stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring on-time go-lives and potential expansion opportunities with the Sales team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex customer projects.
• Experience handling scope disputes and change requests while protecting the budget.
• Technical background in IT/software/telecom/smart metering or AMI environments.
• Familiarity with MS Project or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Project delivery: plan and steer smart metering projects end-to-end, track milestones and report status.
• Scope & change management: protect the agreed scope, manage change requests and licensing needs.
• Stakeholder management: connect utility stakeholders, partners, and internal teams with clear communication.
• Technical coordination: drive deliverables and clarifications with engineering and delivery teams.
• Customer presence: present to customers, run meetings and represent Cuculus on site.
• Business development: spot new needs and hand them to Sales for LATAM.
• Travel: travel approx. 1 week per month to customer sites.
