Qualifications

• 2–3 years in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, startup ops or strategy, or a founder's office.
• Direct exposure to fundraising, investor relations or LP communications.
• Exceptional written English and credibility on calls with senior investors. Writing is a primary filter for this role.
• Solid base in financial modeling, market sizing, competitive analysis and accounting fundamentals, plus familiarity with term sheets, cap tables and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising and LP support: draft LP updates, recaps and outreach, keep the LP pipeline current after every meeting, and help build fund decks, one-pagers, data room materials and newsletters
• Research and diligence: build market maps, thematic research and investment theses, run primary research calls with operators, customers and experts, and support market sizing, benchmarking, financial analysis and investment memos
• Deal support: coordinate diligence, data requests and document tracking, and keep deal materials, term sheets and cap tables current
• Written communication: turn meetings into accurate recaps, and draft materials for LPs, founders and co-investors that need little editing
