MAVI is seeking a Finance Business Partner to connect accounting numbers with business decisions for a high-growth US consumer brand. You will collaborate with department heads on budgets, forecasts, and spend, starting from a solid accounting foundation and supporting the close for your areas.

The role emphasizes partner-to-stakeholder communication, building dashboards, and ensuring data integrity across multiple channels. Remote work from Colombia with long-term placement and US-time overlap.

• 5+ years of experience across accounting and FP&A, with a solid accounting foundation.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with department heads to plan, track, and explain spend and headcount.
• Build and maintain departmental budgets and the rolling forecast, and feed them into the company plan.
• Explain budget-versus-actual results each month with root causes and actions.
• Build reporting packages and dashboards that give leadership a reliable view of performance.
• Close support: prepare accruals, prepaids, and reclasses; review department-level P&L coding.
• Spend control: work with AP and procurement on vendor spend and cost allocation.
• Data integrity: reconcile planning data to the general ledger.
• Sales and payouts: reconcile sales and payouts across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace and other storefronts; use tools like A2X.
• Inventory: maintain roll-forwards and reconcile inventory systems and 3PL reports.
• Margin analysis: build gross margin analysis by channel and SKU.
