Huzzle is seeking a founding engineer to build a fintech platform from the ground up. You will own architecture and product direction, working directly with the founders, and help scale the engineering team as the platform grows.

You should have 3–8+ years in software, fintech experience, and a track record of building production APIs and distributed systems. This is a hands-on, 0→1 role with autonomy and a remote-friendly setup.

Formación

• 3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Direct fintech or payments sector experience.
• Experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong database architecture and data-modeling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and build core financial infrastructure, including accounts, balances, ledgers, transaction state machines, and money-movement systems.
• Build KYC/KYB, onboarding, compliance, permissions, limits, and approval workflows.
• Design integrations with banking partners, card issuers, payment rails, FX providers, and other financial infrastructure partners.
• Develop provider-independent architecture that supports multiple banking and financial providers without vendor lock-in.
• Build secure, reliable APIs and financial data models capable of handling reconciliation, event processing, retries, and exception handling.
• Own technical problems end-to-end, from architecture and database design through implementation and production deployment.
• Work directly with the founders to translate product requirements and business constraints into scalable technical solutions.
• Help establish engineering standards, technology choices, and the long-term technical direction of the platform.
