PayJoy is seeking a Software Engineer to help build our locking technology and data-driven credit products for emerging markets. You will contribute to world-class app design, web frontend and backend, and partner API integrations.

You’ll work with global engineering teams, design scalable database schemas, and deliver features end-to-end, including collaboration with product and compliance teams. A strong fintech background and mentoring mindset are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial technology services.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, PHP, Java, Javascript/Vue/AngularJS, HTML, CSS, SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Code software primarily in PHP, Javascript/Vue/AngularJS, HTML, CSS; design, implement, test, debug, and deploy features from product specs.
• Work with Product to deliver code that addresses business needs.
• Use and manage relational SQL databases; perform CRUD operations.
• Design and implement database schema changes to support new features.
• Build data driven products and APIs for real-time data delivery to partners.
• Grow the engineering team; mentor new engineers and participate in code reviews.
