Utopia Design is seeking an experienced Estimator for remote, full-time engagement on boutique hospitality development projects worldwide. You will develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quantities, coordinating with design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost data and timely reporting.

You will analyze materials and labour, review contractor bids, and assist procurement and contract administration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in estimation, quantity surveying, civil engineering, architecture or related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in construction projects (+6 years).
• Proven experience in high-end hospitality/residential projects (+3 years).
• Proven experience budgeting for projects over $20M USD.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects across design phases.
• Prepare budgets and cost control reports.
• Prepare bills of quantities for construction activities.
• Review and challenge contractor, subcontractor, and supplier proposals.
• Prepare progress reports and variations for stakeholders.
• Quote materials, machinery, equipment, labour, and services.
• Resolve disputes related to costs or contracts.
