Medtronic plc is seeking a DevOps Support Lead for a remote role with preference for candidates in Bogotá or nearby areas in Colombia. The position focuses on establishing DevOps governance and ensuring deployments meet cybersecurity and regulatory requirements across global teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in DevOps, strong DevSecOps knowledge, incident management experience, and excellent English skills. This role supports enterprise-scale healthcare technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Experience supporting development, deployment, and production environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with release management, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and governance processes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• English proficiency at C1–C2.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps governance and promote best practices across software delivery and production support environments.
• Ensure deployments, infrastructure, and applications meet quality, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
• Support release management activities, including deployment readiness, testing validation, and rollback planning.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management processes to improve operational stability and service reliability.
• Collaborate with global DevOps, Operations, Security, and managed service teams to establish and maintain operational standards.
• Promote continuous improvement through monitoring, observability, documentation, and governance practices.
