Cloudstaff is seeking a Data Operations Assistant (SQL and Database Management) to support the BDX data intake process from a remote, Colombia-based office. The role emphasizes data quality, documentation, and pattern tracking across Premium and TPA tracks.

Core duties include BDX layout comparison, mapping maintenance, and QC of incoming files, with escalation to the Operations UW Analyst as needed. Hybrid or remote options are available depending on the role.

Formación

• Strong experience with SQL and database management.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data files (CSV, Excel, delimited text).
• Ability to identify patterns in data and communicate findings clearly in writing.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with data comparison and validation techniques.
• Organized and self-directed — able to manage a queue of files and maintain documentation with minimal supervision.
• Clear written communication skills; comfortable drafting structured error summaries and escalation notes.

Responsabilidades

• Compare each incoming BDX file against the prior month’s layout.
• Flag any fields that have been added, removed, renamed, reordered, or are missing.
• Document changes and elevate to the Operations UW Analyst before the file moves forward.
• Maintain and update mapping documentation across similar types of files.
• Document column names, data types, and field definitions in mapping tables.
• Monitor coverage code tables for new or unrecognized values and flag mismatches.
