Job summary

Nearshore Business Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to join a remote LATAM team. You will build and maintain data integrations, optimize queries across PostgreSQL and Snowflake, and support onboarding and platform maintenance in a high-impact enterprise environment.

You’ll work with AWS services, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to data reliability and forecasting integrations while aligning with UK hours. This role offers market-rate compensation and a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and advanced SQL skills.
• Solid Python programming with pandas and numpy.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, RDS, EC2).
• Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing.
• Understanding ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
• Experience using Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills focused on data quality.
• Availability to work UK business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM UK time).
• Strong English communication and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data integrations and ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.
• Develop and optimize complex queries across PostgreSQL and Snowflake environments.
• Support day-to-day data operations, customer onboarding, and platform maintenance.
• Monitor pipeline performance, investigate issues, and ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Assist with integration of forecasting technology into an existing planning platform.
• Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, and EC2 to support cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve data quality, optimize workflows, and document processes.
