Job summary

Bamboo Works is building a select pool of Bookkeepers, CPAs, and Accounting Specialists to support US and AU clients. This fully remote, independent contractor role offers flexible part-time or full-time opportunities with US or AEST business hours.

You will manage day-to-day accounts, issue invoices, and handle multi-currency transactions while preparing financial statements and tax alignment for US GAAP or Australian BAS. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with US or Australian clients.
• Background as a Bookkeeper or CPA.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Experience handling multi-currency platforms and international transfers.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts in QuickBooks Online or Xero, categorize expenses, and maintain ledgers.
• Generate invoices, track payments, manage retainer billing, and handle vendor payments.
• Process international transactions using multi-currency platforms and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements across accounts.
• Support tax filing prep aligned to US GAAP or Australian BAS/ GST standards.
