The AGS Youth Soccer Club is seeking a detail-oriented Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and ensure financial health as it grows. You will own the full accounting cycle, from monthly close and reporting to controls and compliance, partnering with the CFO and department leaders to streamline processes.

This remote-friendly role requires GAAP knowledge, strong Excel and QuickBooks Online skills, and the ability to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Detail oriented with high integrity and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties including AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Match bank feeds and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online; inter‑company bookkeeping.
• Manage AR and AP, process payroll semi-monthly, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and support audits and filings.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and produce P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Develop internal controls and accounting policies; assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with CFO and department leads to streamline processes.
