Job summary

Kiva.org is a global nonprofit expanding financial access and supporting underserved communities. The Capacity Building Manager will help partners scale impact through capacity building, IT enhancements, and training, with a focus on Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in impact investing, international development, or relevant field.
• Passion for capacity building.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary driver of capacity building activities with lending partners and vendors.
• Implement capacity building engagements in line with grant obligations, to respond to partner needs, and to meet impact pathway objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional grant reporting and renewals.
• Ensure grant obligations are met, and reporting requirements are fulfilled by delivering on-time and on-budget results.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors and consultants who can best support Kiva’s partners’ capacity building needs.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for capacity building vendors to ensure deliverables outlined in MOUs.
