Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to join our expanding team. You will design and operate scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, S3, VPC), and implement robust IaC with Terraform.

The role requires security-first thinking, on-call readiness, and collaboration across diverse client projects. Remote work is supported in a global, client-focused environment with overlapping US business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps
• Experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
• Production Aurora/PostgreSQL with multi-AZ failover and replicas
• IaC: Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerization with Docker and ECS/Fargate
• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
• Rollback drills and deployment automation
• Observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch)
• Load testing and latency targets
• Security-first: secrets management and hardening
• SOC 2 audit evidence support
• Incident response and on-call rotations
• Experience with large, complex systems
• Overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
