Outlier is building a remote program for LatAm software engineers to train AI models by reviewing and scoring AI-generated code.

As a QA Coder, you will review code, rate model responses on accuracy, instruction following, and presentation, and craft clear CS prompts to challenge the models.

This freelance contract role offers flexible work from LATAM, with pay up to $34 USD/hr and access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across dimensions such as accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured computer science prompts to challenge AI models.
