Job summary

Outlier offers a structured remote program across Latin America for software engineers to help train AI models in code generation. You will review AI-produced code, rate model responses on accuracy and presentation, and craft clear computer science prompts.

This is a remote, freelance 1099 contract program open to participants from across LATAM. Ideal candidates hold a CS degree, have live production code experience, and communicate fluently in English with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideal for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read code from AI models and flag errors or quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions to improve output.
• Write computer science prompts to challenge AI models and push coding capabilities.
