Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a Legal Coordinator to support operations across Hispanic America. You will act as a key partner to the business, providing legal and commercial support, coordinating contract reviews, identifying risks and ensuring alignment with internal policies and compliance standards.

You will work with various functions, stakeholders and external advisors to improve legal processes and support regional business decisions within a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in legal, contractual or commercial compliance functions.
• Experience in multinational environments advantageous.
• Understanding of commercial contracts and contractual risk management.
• Knowledge of export control regulations and data protection requirements is a plus.
• Intermediate English.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions and countries.

Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and support negotiation of commercial contracts.
• Identify and assess legal, commercial and compliance risks; escalate when needed.
• Support compliance requirements including export control and data protection (GDPR).
• Review and map contracts and purchase orders to identify gaps and risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to address matters.
