TMF Group in Bogotá is seeking an Accounting & Tax Supervisor to lead end-to-end accounting, tax, and compliance processes. You will coordinate teams, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality financial close and statutory obligations.

The role requires supervising a multi‑country team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements to deliver value for clients. Flexible work arrangements and global collaboration are supported.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 5+ years in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report and P2P.
• Experience leading teams in a multi-country, multi-entity environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset.

Discover the Role

Our Shared Service Center is seeking an Accounting & Tax Supervisor to lead and oversee accounting, tax, and compliance processes end-to-end, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial closings, reports, and statutory obligations. The role is responsible for coordinating teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency, complete documentation, and strong client service standards. Additionally, the Accounting & Tax Supervisor will drive process consistency, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the successful execution of key accounting and tax deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and ensure strict compliance with accounting close schedules, financial reporting, and tax deliverables, meeting defined quality and timeliness standards.
• Provide integrated supervision across Accounting and Tax, ensuring a holistic understanding of client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and control team workload and hours invested, identifying deviations and reporting them to management on a monthly basis.
• Review and approve time records and related documentation in internal reporting systems (e.g., Time Reports, LMS).
• Serve as the primary point of coordination for statutory auditors, tax auditors, and external reviewers.
• Ensure effective people management, including onboarding, training, delegation, performance evaluation, and development of team members.
• Coordinate and oversee compliance with all tax, legal, and corporate obligations within the agreed service scope for assigned clients.
• Review and approve supporting documentation for accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Actively follow up on client collections in coordination with Finance to ensure timely cash recovery.
• Prepare and validate billing instructions for non-recurring services and hourly fees, ensuring strict adherence to TMF's internal billing calendar.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles and service documentation.
• Prepare and maintain annual deliverables calendars, integrating all relevant service areas and aligning timelines with clients.
• Identify and support opportunities for service expansion and improved client engagement, contributing to revenue growth and retention.
• Monitor regulatory and tax law changes, ensuring clients are informed of potential impacts, risks, and compliance considerations.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Proven experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environment
• Previous experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model will be advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report and P2P area
• Previous experience in leading teams.
• Good knowledge of accounting, GAAP, corporate practices; IFRS knowledge will be an asset
