Job summary

Alianza Team seeks a Regional Raw Materials Procurement Coordinator to ensure lipid-based material supply across international operations. You will coordinate procurement, monitor inventory, analyze prices and supplier performance to keep manufacturing running smoothly and cost-efficiently.

Your role involves collaborating with plant operations, logistics, trade, finance, and commercial teams across countries, with a hybrid work model and regional exposure emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in raw material procurement and supply management.
• Experience in food, edible oils, fats, or agribusiness is valued.
• Advanced English for collaboration with US teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor raw material supply to ensure availability.
• Manage inventory levels and purchasing activities, optimize logistics.
• Develop quotes, analyze prices/volumes, and report KPIs.

Ensure the continuous and efficient supply of lipid-based raw materials for our operations in Mexico, Chile, and the United States by coordinating procurement activities, managing inventory levels, analyzing prices, and monitoring supplier performance to guarantee timely raw material availability across our manufacturing facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Regional Supply Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and monitor raw material supply activities, ensuring availability and preventing potential supply disruptions.
• Procurement & Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor purchasing activities, and coordinate logistics movements to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
• Pricing & Cost Analysis: Develop quotation scenarios, analyze purchasing prices and volumes, prepare cost projections, and consolidate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision-making.
• Supplier Management: Monitor supplier commitments, deliveries, invoicing, payments, and compliance with raw material quality requirements.
• Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reporting tools, and workflows through data analysis and technology-driven solutions.
• Regional Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including plant operations, logistics, international trade, finance, and commercial departments across different countries.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in raw material procurement and supply management, including supplier management, inventory monitoring, and pricing analysis. Experience in the food, edible oils, fats, or agribusiness industries is highly valued.

English Proficiency (Required): Advanced, fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with our teams in the United States.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of programming, data analytics, or automation tools such as Python or SQL is a plus.

Key Competencies: Analytical thinking, negotiation skills, effective communication, results orientation, organizational skills, adaptability, and business acumen.
