Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Quality Intern to provide operational and administrative support within the Quality team at the Distribution Center. You will help manage product and equipment documentation, maintain compliance with GDP and QMS processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, while supporting audits, CAPA, and product traceability activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the final semesters of a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Quality Management Systems documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support management and tracking of products and equipment through quarantine, returns, release, and final disposition processes with accurate documentation.
• Assist with inspections of products, equipment, and storage areas to verify compliance with storage conditions and organization.
• Support product release and return processes per internal procedures and GDP requirements.
• Participate in inventories and cycle counts, reporting discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Assist in internal audits, self-inspections, and QMS monitoring activities by gathering information and organizing documentation.
• Maintain traceable quality records in accordance with GDP and document control requirements.
• Support document management, database updates, quality reports, and KPI tracking.
• Assist in CAPA monitoring and improvement initiatives with proper follow-up.
• Provide support for product traceability, recalls, and other QMS activities as needed.
• Follow corporate policies and regulatory requirements; contribute to continuous improvement objectives.
