INGEPSY in Barranquilla, Colombia seeks a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure software products meet quality standards across the development lifecycle. The role emphasizes manual and automated testing, defect detection, and collaboration with developers, product teams, and designers.

Ideal candidates will have strong testing skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in test planning, scripting, and documentation.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with manual software testing.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated tests is preferred.
• Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, API, or other software applications.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management platforms.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and software release processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test strategies for software applications.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to define comprehensive testing scenarios.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor test results, identify quality risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities.
