Job summary

Sonatafy Technology, Inc. is seeking a proactive QA Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience using Playwright and TypeScript. You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on quality, test automation, and efficient QA practices.

The role splits roughly 50/50 between manual testing and automation, including API checks with Postman, cross-browser validation, and CI/CD integration in BrowserStack environments. Excellent communication is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Playwright Trace Debugging.
• Experience with BrowserStack Test Management.
• Experience with BrowserStack Automate.
• Strong CI/CD and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive automated testing across the platform (50%–50% manual).
• Write and maintain test plans and cases in BrowserStack Test Management.
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile, including cross-browser checks.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end and API automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Investigate flaky tests and fix issues in CI/CD and test runs.
• Collaborate with Product and Development during sprint ceremonies to clarify acceptance criteria.
