GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive quality strategy for an AI‑First software project in Colombia. You will define automation standards, mentor engineers, and champion in‑sprint automation using Playwright and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA Automation
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives or mentoring technical teams
• Expert Playwright with TypeScript
• Experience designing frameworks with Page Object Model, fixtures and reusable utilities
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions pipelines
• Proficiency with Jira and modern test management tools
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate script generation and debugging
• Strong cross-functional communication and team enablement

Responsabilités

• In-Sprint Automation Execution: design, develop, and maintain Playwright scripts for active sprint automation
• AI-Driven Engineering: implement AI tools to generate test cases from acceptance criteria and analyze root causes
• Framework Architecture: maintain scalable automation frameworks with reusable utilities and fixtures
• CI/CD Integration: integrate test suites into pipelines via GitHub Actions for rapid feedback
• Continuous Improvement: monitor test metrics, remove bottlenecks, and promote quality culture
• Quality Leadership & Strategy: define QA strategy and automation standards across the project lifecycle
• Team Mentorship & Guidance: mentor QA engineers on Playwright, TypeScript, and AI-assisted testing
• Sprint & Stakeholder Alignment: work with Product Owners and Dev Leads to ensure in-sprint goals
