Job summary

Decibel in Medellín is hiring its first QA specialist to own release quality and live system monitoring across equities, commodities, and crypto. You will sit with product and engineering, deciding what to test and why, in Bogotá hours, while shaping QA practices as the team grows.

You will be the product’s most active user, reproducing issues across live positions and documenting clear, actionable tickets for rapid fixes.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in QA or related roles.
• Experience with real-money products (trading/brokerage/etc).
• Ability to write bug reports with reproduction steps, evidence, scope and impact.
• Critical reading of specs/designs before coding.
• Self-starter, can explore features with minimal guidance.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review releases and decide what needs testing to prevent critical issues.
• Test trading surfaces: order placement/cancellation, margins, funding, and PnL checks.
• Ensure fiat-to-first-trade path is reliable and fast.
• Capture bugs with reproduction steps, evidence and impact.
• Define QA processes and regression suites across multiple time zones.
