Decibel is seeking a QA-focused engineer to join in Medellín, testing every release with a product-aware eye. You will work with engineering and product to decide what to test, and you will monitor live systems across equities, commodities, and crypto.

This is the first QA hire in the region, shaping testing practices and regression suites for rapid growth. You will own bug reproduction, evidence gathering, and clear tickets that engineers can act on quickly, ensuring the user’s trading

Formación

• 3-5 years in QA or related role testing real-money products.
• Experience diagnosing product problems, writing actionable bug reports.
• Ability to read specs and designs critically and test accordingly.
• Willingness to work across timezones and in Bogota hours.

Responsabilidades

• Own release quality and decide what needs testing before every release.
• Test trading surfaces: order placement, cancellations, funding, margins, and PnL consistency.
• Investigate live system issues with logs, APIs and network traces; reproduce and verify fixes.
• Help shape QA processes, regression suites, and release checklists.
