Job summary

Amadeus IT Group is seeking an Associate QA Engineer to join the DCS Flight Management team in Bogotá. You will work in an Agile setting, ensuring requirements meet high quality standards and partnering with stakeholders across product and development to shape comprehensive functional tests.

The role emphasizes defining test strategies, creating and executing test plans, coordinating with Product Managers, and contributing to a regression-focused testing approach in a hybrid Bogota office

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Experience with Robot and Playwright.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience in different types of functional and API testing.
• Knowledge of data driven testing and SQL.
• English communication at B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality across projects and initiatives.
• Implement test strategy and maintain test plans.
• Create, review, and execute functional tests from requirements.
• Define test cases ensuring traceability to specifications.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and stakeholders on requirements and tests.
• Forecast risks, gaps, and impact on quality.
• Participate in regression testing and report results.
• Prepare and execute test data and environments.
• Provide defect information to developers and verify fixes.
• Document defects and participate in reviews of testing requirements.
