Applaudo is seeking a backend-focused engineer to own and evolve services powering an operational dashboard. You will build and maintain API-backed modules, data exports, and status widgets on Google Cloud, collaborating with an API design lead and platform auth integration.

The role emphasizes testing, data access, and adherence to a structured engineering workflow in a remote, international team. A 4-month contractor model with daily overlap with U.S. Eastern hours is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of backend development experience using Python.
• Strong hands-on experience deploying backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouse access patterns (BigQuery, Cloud SQL).
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
• Experience with SSO/RBAC integration.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain backend services and REST APIs for application modules and resource-status capabilities.
• Build and maintain CSV and PDF data export capabilities.
• Integrate backend services with the platform's authentication and RBAC model (SSO/RBAC).
• Implement reliable data access across relational databases and data warehouse platforms.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to support quality and reliability.
• Support defect resolution and delivery processes.
