BairesDev is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform. You will own the data lifecycle, oversee pipelines and analytics workloads, and ensure data is accessible, reliable, and cost-efficient for strategic decision-making.

This 100% remote role offers flexible hours, work from home setup, compensation in USD, and collaboration with a global Top 1% team, with strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Data Management.
• Proven expertise in leading the development of scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
• Deep understanding of GCP-native services, specifically BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain robust data processing systems and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources using Python and GCP services.
• Leverage BigQuery to build high-performance analytics warehouses and enable large-scale querying for business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and implement end-to-end data solutions that support organizational goals.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security by implementing best practices for data governance and proactive system monitoring.
• Evaluate and integrate new GCP services to continuously improve the performance and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.
