WSP COLOMBIA SAS is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer for hydroelectric and dam projects. You will design protection systems, analyze relay settings, and coordinate with SCADA and automation teams to ensure successful commissioning.

Applicants should have 6–9 years in protection and control, with experience in hydro facilities, substations, and transmission. Advanced English and French are mandatory; collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Professional Engineer designation preferred (P.Eng. or equivalent).
• 6–9 years of experience in Protection & Control Engineering.
• Experience with hydroelectric facilities, dams, substations, or transmission systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design protection and control systems for hydro & dam infrastructure.
• Develop protection philosophies and relay settings.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports.
• Perform short-circuit studies, coordination, and arc flash analyses.
• Support SCADA, automation, and commissioning activities.
