Bluelightconsulting is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead software development programs across distributed teams in a nearshore US-LATAM delivery model. You will own planning, milestones, risk management, and stakeholder communications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required‑by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change‑control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third‑party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate‑based acceptance criteria and client‑facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non‑technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
