Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead software development initiatives. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate multi-team efforts, and manage risks, budgets, and timelines while communicating effectively with clients and executives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in project management, strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Kanban, and proven ability to manage complex, distributed engineering efforts.

• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resourcing and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies and contracts.
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
