Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Accountant to manage end-to-end project accounting and billing, ensuring accurate cost allocation and timely invoicing. You will support project teams across labor, non-labor, equipment and reimbursable costs, maintaining financial integrity and compliance with client requirements.

This role requires IFRS knowledge, Oracle ERP experience, and strong communication. You will engage with treasury for cash application and prepare monthly reports across currencies.

Qualifications

• Professional in administrative or related fields.
• Experience: 5–10 years.
• University Degree or equivalent in related discipline.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Running Oracle system reports to support month-end transactions and reporting.
• Booking revenue transactions based on Percent Completion calculations (IFRS).
• Maintenance on projects, creating projects & tasks; ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with month-end reporting, including reconciliations and data gathering.
• Reconciliation of FX gain/loss entries for multicurrency projects.
• Produce monthly trend and variance reports and analyses.
• Prepare monthly cashflow reports in multiple currencies.
• Liaise with finance & treasury groups to ensure daily cash application.
• Enter client invoices in Oracle system.
• Support with ad-hoc analyses, variance investigations and resolution.
• Full cycle project accounting and cost control on small projects.
• Support Accounts Payable & expense reports as needed.
• Initiate and prepare journal entries.
• Other tasks as required.
