Job summary

Cadre AI is seeking an AI Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our delivery engine. You will build production-grade AI systems, agentic workflows, and robust retrieval pipelines that run at client scale.

You will collaborate with AI strategists to translate problems into precise builds, own end-to-end delivery, and help shape internal tooling to accelerate future engagements across private equity, real estate, and SaaS clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, including production AI agents.
• Deep experience with vector databases, RAG optimization, and agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js with backend patterns.
• IaC and containerized deployments (Terraform/Pulumi, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to abstract client work into reusable internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex backend AI modules and agentic workflows.
• Architect and optimize RAG pipelines and vector data handling.
• Develop and maintain agentic orchestration and context management.
• Manage deployment of AI services with IaC, tests, and observability.
• Contribute to internal tooling and platform improvements.
