Job summary

Amadeus Hospitality seeks a Product Definition Analyst to bridge business needs and technical implementation for the ACRS Connectivity team. You will analyze complex requirements and translate them into clean functional specifications to enable reliable, scalable connectivity solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture and QA to define user stories, acceptance criteria and technical requirements while supporting backlog refinement and feature readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Experience as Product Definition Analyst or similar role in software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating requirements to specs.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, data mappings (XML/JSON).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Hospitality/ CRS/ PMS or connectivity knowledge is a plus.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, specs and tech requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end integration flows, APIs, data mappings and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to craft technical solutions.
• Support backlog refinement, story decomposition, PI Planning and feature readiness.
• Define expected behaviors, test scenarios and acceptance conditions with QA.
• Investigate issues and translate learnings into product improvements.
• Create and maintain high-quality product and technical documentation.

Summary of the role

As a Product Definition Analyst, you’ll bridge business needs and technical implementation for ACRS Connectivity. You’ll work with Product, Engineering, Architecture and QA to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications that enable the team to build reliable, scalable connectivity solutions.

In this role you’ll

• Gather, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end integration flows, APIs, data mappings, business rules, dependencies and system impacts.
• Work closely with Architects and Engineers to clarify requirements and contribute to effective technical solutions.
• Support backlog refinement, story decomposition, PI Planning and feature readiness.
• Partner with QA to define expected behaviors, test scenarios and acceptance conditions.
• Investigate functional and integration issues and help turn production learnings into product improvements.
• Create and maintain high-quality product, interface and functional documentation while contributing to knowledge sharing across the team.

About The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a Product Definition Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role in a software environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear specifications.
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, data mappings, XML/JSON or distributed applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Engineering, Architecture, QA and Product teams in an Agile environment.
• Hospitality, CRS, PMS or distribution/connectivity knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and API or integration technologies is desirable.
