Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience driving large-scale programs; travel industry exposure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe frameworks and JIRA usage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Associate Product Definition Analyst

Summary Of The Role

Join us and help build something from the ground up.

We're looking for a proactive Product Definition Analyst to help build and expand our hub, ramping up across multiple functional Flight Management areas. You'll also have the opportunity to take on transversal responsibilities as a Product Owner.

• Assess requirements and drive agility — actively participate in quarterly plannings.
• Lead refinement sessions.
• Design functional solutions: HDL/PBL and write specifications.
• Oversee functional validation — exploratory testing and test plan reviews.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships, including customers and internal teams
• Functional expertise in your discipline, with an understanding of how your area connects to the broader Amadeus business.
• The ability to work within existing procedures and guidelines while contributing to and influencing area decisions, recommending new solutions, and proposing improvements based on data analysis.
• Comfort working with moderate guidance from your leaders.
• Enthusiasm for applying AI-assisted tools to boost team productivity and the business analyst experience.

Assess Requirements & Drive Agility

• Build, maintain, and share functional knowledge of our processes, services, and end-user products.
• Analyze business requirements from Product Management.
• Write user stories to capture requirements for R&D teams.
• Size specifications and validation work.
• Flexibility to adapt customer requirements.

Carry out functional design

• Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications; present functional walkthroughs to stakeholders
• Coordinate with other divisions to identify cross-application interactions and ensure compatibility

Validate specifications

• Validate product functionality and system integrity, providing sign-off (Functional Testing).
• Investigate, validate, and prioritize reported incidents to maintain production integrity.
• Been able to triage and navigate through application logs, collect evidence.

Manage stakeholder relationships

• Liaise with Product Management, Project Management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration, and Development teams
• Partner with customers through requirements gathering, specification, testing, and implementation

About The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive, relevant experience — ideally including travel industry exposure, analytics, or product development.
• Experience driving large-scale programs or industrialization projects, with a demonstrated ability to lead change, is a plus.
• Agile or Product management certifications is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills: B2 or higher.
• General travel industry experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sound analytical and planning mindset.
• Familiarity with JIRA and SAFe Agile.
• Airline/AirOps knowledge is a plus.
