Coupa is seeking a skilled attorney to join our legal team, focusing on procurement and commercial contracts. The role will draft, review, and negotiate supplier and vendor agreements while aligning with Coupa’s policies and legal requirements.

Over time, the role may expand to support general corporate, real estate, marketing, ESG, and subsidiary management. The incumbent will partner with procurement, compliance, security, and finance teams to manage risks and ensure contract integrity.

Formación

• Law degree from an accredited university or equivalent foreign law degree.
• Admission to a local bar and in good standing.
• 3+ years of legal experience, focus on procurement or commercial contracts (in-house preferred).
• Strong business sense and ability to advise on legal terms impacting transactions.
• Experience partnering with internal buyers and cross-functional teams in tech companies is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts including supplier and vendor agreements, service contracts, and purchase orders.
• Develop and improve procurement contract management processes and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement and contract matters.
• Identify and mitigate legal, operational, and practical risks in procurement activities.
• Collaborate with procurement, compliance, security, finance and senior leadership on procurement strategies.
• Maintain organized records of procurement-related legal documents and correspondence.
• Support supplier management and address disputes or compliance issues.
