Coupa is seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to join the legal team, focusing on procurement matters and contract management. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and administering procurement contracts, while aligning with Coupa's policies and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a law degree, bar admission, and 3+ years of procurement or commercial contracts experience, preferably in-house, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Formación

• Law degree from an accredited university or equivalent foreign law degree.
• Admission to a local bar and in good standing.
• 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on procurement or commercial contracts (in-house experience preferred).
• Experience with customer-facing contracts, or with risk management or compliance is a plus but not required.
• Experience related to technology companies is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts, including supplier, vendor, service contracts, and purchase orders.
• Develop and improve procurement contract management policies and processes.
• Provide training to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and contract management.
• Identify legal, operational, and practical risks in procurement activities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with procurement managers, compliance, security, finance, and senior leadership on legal issues.
• Maintain organized records of procurement-related legal documents and correspondence.
• Support supplier management and resolve contract breaches and compliance matters.
