Schneider Electric seeks a Principal System Architect to shape architectures for Power & Process across South America. You will combine technical depth with customer engagement, designing solutions for energy transition and digital transformation.

You will engage with customers, EPCs, and integrators, lead discovery sessions, and develop architectures that blend process automation, power systems, and software platforms like AVEVA and ETAP. The role requires traveling regionally.

Formación

• 10+ years in process control and power systems automation.
• Experience supporting technical sales, business development or pre-sales.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation: DCS, PLC, SCADA, OT technologies.
• Experience with industrial software platforms: analytics, simulation, digital twin.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese desirable.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
• Ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
• Excellent technical writing and customer engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Drive growth for Heavy Industries across South America through strategic opportunities and customer engagement.
• Act as Technical Sales Consultant for Power & Process solutions in Mining, Energy, and Chemicals.
• Support regional sales in identifying, qualifying, developing, and advancing P&P opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and customer workshops to define value-driven solutions.
• Develop and validate architectures combining Process Automation, Power Management, and AVEVA/ETAP technologies.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with solution definition and risk assessment.
• Serve as technical authority ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric standards and direction.
• Collaborate with regional/global units and Centers of Excellence to build competitive solutions.
• Engage customers, consultants, EPCs, integrators, and end users through opportunity lifecycle.
• Promote digitalization, software-defined automation, and IT/OT convergence.
• Provide market trend visibility and support technical marketing events.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mitigation of technical/commercial risks.
• Drive cross-functional cooperation to maximize customer value.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Power & Process portfolio for Heavy Industries.
